Harriet Tubman’s words have stayed with me throughout my journey of entrepreneurship and starting a non-profit focused on healing my community. There have been many challenges, but the support of my family has made all the difference.

When I first shared my vision with my loved ones, I was met with hesitation and doubt. But instead of discouraging me, they challenged me to think deeply about my goals and helped me formulate a plan.

The encouragement from my family gave me the strength to persevere and continue pushing forward, even when the path ahead was unclear.

Starting a non-profit is no easy feat. It takes patience, persistence, and a passion for making a positive impact. But with the support of my family, I knew that anything was possible. They helped me to tap into my inner strength and reminded me of the immense potential within myself.
